Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $39,000 – $44,000 annually depending on experience.
Details: ARAC is currently seeking an innovative and outgoing person to oversee the grant programs for the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council. The arts council operates grant programs and provides services for artists in the seven-county area of Northeastern Minnesota, an area of more than 18,000 square miles with rural, urban, wilderness, and industrial communities. The job requires significant outreach (expect to be on the road almost every week) plus detailed work helping artists and arts organizations apply. The grants manager also coordinates community review panels that make decisions about applications and grant awards. A commitment to inclusion and equity is a must. You should be flexible and enjoy working as part of a team. Duties include working with current grant programs, evaluating those programs, planning changes in existing programs, and creating new programs.
Experience: B.A. degree and some experience working with artists and grant programs.
