Arrowhead Region Give to the Max Day

It's giving season, and we're happy to share a list of local arts supporting organizations from the Arrowhead Region that you will consider supporting in their fundraising efforts! Not all of the organizations listed below are running Give to the Max Day campaigns this year, but we still wanted to share their donation pages in the spirit of the giving season!

We did our best to include as many organizations as possible, but we may have missed a few. Please email media@aracouncil.org if your organization is missing from our list, and we'll include it next year!

Northern Lakes Arts Association
For forty years, Northern Lakes Arts Association has kept the light alive in Ely.Neighbors have built sets in garages, sewn costumes at kitchen tables, and believed—deeply—that art belongs here. Because of that belief, we’ve grown from a handful of volunteers into a regional arts ecosystem reaching more than 21,000 people each year. Now it’s time to write the next act.

Lake Vermilion Cultural Center
PROVIDING A SPACE FOR ALL TO SHARE, LEARN, GATHER, AND ENGAGE.
For 125 years, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church has lent its charm and splendid stained glass windows to Tower, Minnesota. It was primarily a summer church but too lovely to let go to disrepair and a group of local citizens formed a non-profit organization called the Lake Vermilion Cultural Center to save the building and give the Lake Vermilion area a much needed center where many activities can take place. Gifted to the LVCC by the Episcopal Church in Minnesota, we finally moved this venerable building, now known as St. Mary’s Hall, to its new home near the historic center of Tower near the harbor. Now we must complete the building project with several additions. Please help make this dream come true.

Every night, the light of dozens of ice candles renders Whiteside Park magical right in the heart of Ely.

Your donation will help feed hungry snow sculptors and pay their mileage to Ely. You will also help with the cost of producing our beautiful brochure which is a guide for visitors, and so much more. Please consider supporting Ely Winter Festival.

Take it With You
Take It With You is an hour-long, originally scripted, live radio theatre podcast complete with versatile voice actors and old-school foley sound effects (think Monty Python coconut horses) performed in front of a studio audience in Duluth, Minnesota. It’s the Golden Age of Radio but without the “age.” It’s just gold. Each of our shows is 100% original and truly a labor of love. And it's because of our amazing live audiences that we're able to pay our cast and crew, purchase props and equipment, and fix things that need fixing, which allows us to keep making you laugh year after year! But after the show is done we're hard at work getting out the podcasts which is very time consuming and requires its own set of expenses. So please consider giving back for as little as $5 so we can continue to create quality original work and make it available wherever you go! This can be a one time donation or quarterly/monthly ongoing membership pledge. It's easy to make your tax-deductible donation right now.
