What is Auntie’s Table?

We will be hosting weekly maker nights with supplies and instruction! These classes are free but we encourage you to bring a small “gift of reciprocity” for the teachers.  In our way, this is the best way for learning to move back and forth. If you have your own supplies or projects, please bring them, sit around, snack, and work.  Want to learn something new? Never beaded IN YOUR LIFE? That’s exactly why we are here.  You can work on any project OR work on the specialty of the day!

FAQs:

What to bring?  A dish of food to share, small teacher’s gift, and your ideas!

How many times can I come?  Every week!

What if I am non native?  We appreciate allies, but we need to create and prioritize space for our own cultural revitalization work.  This is a space for that.

Can I bring my kids?  Yes! We do have a kiddie hang out area but no babysitters. Kids are welcome to hang and color/play.

What if I have never beaded?  That’s great! Come learn. Auntie’s got you.

Do I have to work on the specialty of the day? Nope.  You can work on whatever you’re excited about.

What if I don’t have any supplies?  We have some!  But please bring your own if you are able.

What if I have something I’d like to teach?  Email us!
