Indigenous Student Day at Ely Film Festival

  • Ely's Historic State Theater 238 East Sheridan Street Ely, MN, 55731 United States (map)

Indigenous Students Day is one of our favorite EFF programs as we are able to connect students from our region with stories that share the values of our communities. Last year we provided free tickets to 115 students and educators from 6 area schools, followed by a free lunch provided by the Ely Chapter of AAUW & the Ely Folk School. This year we are continuing this program in exciting new ways.

At EFF24 we have Indigenous feature films (One With The Whale, A Winter Love, and Ojibwa Warrior) as well as curated shorts programs (Dibaajimowin and Good Mythology Shorts). Be sure to stick around after the show for conversations with the filmmakers and subjects.
