Live Painting Encounters: Similar to plein air painting, these sessions invite community members to observe the artistic process in real time through informal interactions. The goal is to make art visible and approachable; Nicole Smith hopes to reduce intimidation and invite others to engage with and be inspired by art in everyday places. The public will be encouraged to stop and view the artistic process and ask any questions they may have. All interactors will also have the opportunity to receive a free digital copy or print of the final painting upon completion.
