Sugarloaf Cove Nature Center, located on the North Shore of Lake Superior, has partnered with Split Rock Studios to create all new interactive exhibits inside our visitor center. To celebrate the new exhibits, we are hosting a Summer Celebration July 11 from 1 pm – 4 pm. Sugarloaf Cove received an Arrowhead Regional Arts Council Organizational Art Project grant to infuse the celebration with arts activities. This family Friendly, free event will feature:

• Public launch of our new interactive exhibits

• Make & Take nature paper craft station for all ages

• Personalized Poem station with artist-in-residence Diver Van Avery

• Premiere of new artist led story walks

• Live concert at 3 pm featuring music created for the story walks by musicians Christian Bardin (CB.), Theo Langason, and Peter Morrow
