YWCA Duluth and Divine Konnections are overjoyed to announce their collaboration to serve young mothers, families and children.
After 20+ years of operating child care and housing for young mothers in the Spirit Valley building in West Duluth, YWCA Duluth is supporting Divine Konnections’ innovative work through the donation of 411 N. 57th Avenue West as well as a state of the art playground.
Divine Konnections is re-opening the building as The Diver Morning Sky Hope and Healing Center, named after YWCA Duluth’s past executive director and young mother’s program founder, Karen Diver. The Center will house young mothers and their families and provide care to infants and toddlers.
Mark your calendars and join us to celebrate! To commemorate this epic collaboration, local artist Carla Hamilton will connect with the community to design a mural that will be unveiled with music, tours and play on September 25th from 3-5pm.
